Alex has had such a great month at school -- he's been working so hard and earning his green smiley faces on his behavior chart. I thought that it would be fun this weekend to treat him to something special on Saturday. He decided that he wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese because it's where "a kid can be a kid." He tells me this tag line nearly every day. Ingenious marketing on Chuck E. Cheese's part. Anyways, we were lucky to also have Roger home on Saturday. So we braved Chuck E. Cheese Saturday morning. To my surprise, it wasn't too crowded!
Alex had this hat from his birthday and some left over tokens from the last time we ventured out. I'm not sure what's up with Princess Thunder Cloud here.
Alex loves all the sports games. He played football first, then basketball a couple times and skeet ball. He loves them all!
This is Addison's favorite ride. She loves driving Mr. Cheese.
We even splurged on lunch. Alex's favorite: cheese pizza!
By the end of the morning, Addison's mood had greatly improved. It actually worked out to be a great outing for a rainy, Saturday morning!
